Baby Shower

Opening Gifts - between me and my twin tummy - there wasn't much room on the chair for the presents - ha!ha!

The Fabulous Hostesses - Gail & Laura

Friends

A & E for Anneka and Emmaline. Soon our family picture will be outdated! We'll need to get one of the five of us :-)

Isn't this diaper cake awesome? The branches at the top even light up - soooooo cute! Our nursery theme for the girls is birdies and the colors are pink and green and brown - the cake is completely coordinated. Thanks Jenny!

Delicious Food

Double layer dip, double layer jello, twin olives on a toothpick, twin cheese cubes on a toothpick - love all the creativity, Gail!

Another shot of the fab diaper cake

Isn't this the cutest cake ever? It was a perfect match to the shower invitations. Of course, it was chocolate and also tasted delicious!

My friends threw me a wonderful baby shower last week. It was so much fun! Everything was "twin" - even the food :-) We are ready for little Anneka and Emmaline when they make their appearance in 4-6 weeks! The shower took place at my house - which was fantastic - my friends did all the work, and I just sat back and enjoyed it. Thank you everyone!

Katherine turned 4 on July 1st. We had a fun family night on her actual birthday, and then had a party with her friends a week later.

Memorial Day Weekend

We FINALLY enjoyed some beautiful, sunny weather here in Dayton, OH! Perfect timing for the long Memorial Day weekend. Here are some pictures of Katherine enjoying time in her little pool and showing off her new swing set. She is so excited to have her own "park" right in the back yard. Wolfgang and some friends from church set it up last night. We still need to install the canopy part, but Katherine is happy to be swinging and sliding. I can already envision a couple of baby swings being added next spring / summer so that Katherine can push her little sisters while mommy and daddy relax on the back porch (an unrealistic dream perhaps, but here's hoping - ha!ha!).

Barbies

I got out my Barbies for Katherine to play with! She loved it! It was so much fun to go through my old things and remember the countless hours that I spent dressing my Barbies and doing their hair. I think I had as much fun as Katherine.
