You can see a little bit of Katherine's cast here - she was napping on Grandma's lap.

Out playing in the snow - the broken arm isn't slowing her down a bit :-)

Hector relaxing in the sun

This year we were able to spend fun family time with both the Krenzer and the Breisch families. We did have a bit of holiday excitement when Katherine broke her right arm on December 20th. It was a compound fracture, and she had to have surgery that night. Thankfully, the bone is healing well, and she is doing just fine using her left arm. The cast comes off on January 19th!

Summer Fun with Grandma and Grandpa

Off to see the Dayton Air Show

Swinging at the Air Show

Playing in her pool

With Gma in the pool

Here are some more pictures of Katherine having fun with Grandma and Grandpa during their visit. I think Grandpa took most of these pictures, so sadly he is missing from lots of them, but he was right there having fun, too!

Creation Museum

During my parents' last visit, we were able to go to the Creation Museum in Kentucky. Katherine had lots of fun showing Gma, Gpa, and Great Gma all the dinosaurs. The museum is really well done. It is so refreshing to go to a place that has such sound Biblical teaching and information.

Katherine and Hector

Here are some pictures of Katherine "playing" with Hector (my parent's dog). These were taken shortly after her 3rd birthday!

My 3rd Birthday

I am way overdue to post these pictures, but here are some snapshots of Katherine's 3rd birthday.

An Attempt at Pattern Design

Katherine is finally learning to say "cheese" when we take her picture - this has resulted in a few more smiley pics!

On a mission - kicking her ball

Looks like she is trying to explain something quite complicated

Looks like she is tired of this photo shoot - that's a wrap!

After I found a cute dress in a children's catalog, I was inspired to make my own version rather than pay all the $$$. Here are the results! The dress I was imitating had an Asian flair, so that is why I chose this fabric. Katherine loves it because it's made of knit which makes it nice and comfy :-)

Some Recent Projects

Hair Clips - Katherine is really excited about these. She wants to wear them all at once!

Aren't these the cutest panties?? I am hoping that these will inspire Katherine for potty training!!!

I tried reverse applique on this dress - it turned out really well.

Here are a couple of the sewing projects that I finished recently. I also FINALLY made some hair clips for Katherine. Unbelievable that it has taken this long for me to try these. They are easy, and most importantly, the clips hold Katherine's hair very well.
